KidFirst uses information to provide accounts and shared family spaces, operate and improve the service, communicate with users, and protect the app. We do not sell personal information.
1. Who we are
KidFirst provides a family-centered website and app for parents, co-parents, caregivers, and other trusted adults. This policy applies to getkidfirst.com, the KidFirst web app, and KidFirst mobile apps.
2. Information we collect

We collect information you choose to enter, such as family and child details, family member information, invitation information, and other content submitted to a family workspace.
Technical and usage information
We may collect IP address, device and browser type, operating system, app version, timestamps, pages or features used, crash information, diagnostic logs, and security events. If notifications are enabled, we may process a device notification token and notification preferences.

4. How information is shared
We may share information with service providers that help with hosting, storage, authentication, notifications, analytics, customer support, and security. They may use information only to perform services for KidFirst.
Information placed in a shared family space may be visible to the trusted adults you invite or authorize. Please review invitations carefully before sharing access.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the service. We do not sell personal information.
5. Children’s privacy
KidFirst is intended for use by parents, caregivers, and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and children should not create their own accounts. Adults may enter information about children when using the service and are responsible for having authority to provide that information.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements. Retention may vary by data type.
You may request account and data deletion through our Account and Data Deletion page. Some limited records may remain where required by law, needed for security or fraud prevention, or stored temporarily in protected backups.
7. Your choices
You may update available profile information, manage notification permissions through your device or account settings, decline optional information, and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Rights may vary based on where you live.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should protect account credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
