Account deletion is permanent. You may lose access to your profile, family spaces, invitations, and information associated with your account.
How to request deletion
- Email us from the email address connected to your KidFirst account.
- Use the subject line “Delete my KidFirst account.”
- Include the name on the account and clearly state that you want the account and associated personal data deleted.
You may also use a Delete Account option if one is available in your KidFirst account settings. We may ask you to verify account ownership before completing a request.
What will be deleted
After verification, we will delete or de-identify the personal information associated with your account, including profile and authentication records, subject to the exceptions below.
Shared family information may involve other authorized account holders. We will explain whether deleting your account removes the shared workspace, removes only your access and contributions, or requires action from another workspace member.
What may be retained
Limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, document a completed deletion request, or protect users and the service. Deleted information may remain temporarily in restricted backups until those backups are overwritten.
Timing
We will acknowledge verified deletion requests and provide an estimated completion date. Most verified requests are completed within 30 days, unless additional time is reasonably required by law, security needs, or the complexity of shared family data.
Delete specific information without closing your account
To request correction or deletion of specific information while keeping your account, email support@getkidfirst.com and describe the information involved. Available options may depend on shared access and legal retention requirements.
